Knife fight in the old town of Erding

Dramatic scenes took place on Tuesday evening in front of a shisha bar in Erding's old town.

A young man stabbed three men with a knife.

They were injured, one seriously.

The permanent criminal service and the homicide squad of the Erdinger Kripo are investigating.

Erding – It was around 7 p.m. on Tuesday when the bloody deed began.

Witnesses reported to our newspaper that a young man ran up to the restaurant directly at the beautiful tower.

He suddenly pulled out a knife and stabbed three men.

He caught one badly, the knife digging into his back and shoulder.

He collapsed on the sidewalk, bleeding profusely.

The other two suffered minor stab wounds.

The police and the rescue control center received several emergency calls.

Almost a dozen police cars and civilian patrols, as well as a large contingent of ambulances and an ambulance, as well as several first responder units from the Feuerwherne drove up and took up positions on the long line and the mill ditch.

The area around the shisha bar was cordoned off over a large area.

The perpetrator was found at the scene and arrested.

About an hour after the crime, he was put into a civilian police vehicle, which took him to the station.

He is in custody and is being investigated for attempted murder and serious bodily harm.

According to research by our newspaper, a dispute between two clans or families escalated on Tuesday evening in downtown Erding.

It is said to be Kurds from Iraq.

The focus should be on a young woman who is said to have decided on a life that displeased her family.

The attacker is said to be the young woman's partner who wanted to defend her against family harassment.

The police did not want to give any information on the day of the crime.

Witnesses report that the family's arguments continued verbally even after the bloody deed.

Disturbing for the witnesses: Several visitors to the shisha bar sat there calmly in the evening and smoked a hookah.

While the police were still investigating at the scene, the actors of the Swedish Games came - and could hardly believe what was happening in the immediate vicinity of their stage, where the premiere was to take place on Thursday evening.
