Bad Tölz – After an accident, all passengers had to be evacuated from a train.
The route is expected to remain closed for a longer period of time.

There was an accident on the railway line of the Bavarian Regiobahn in Bad Tölz.
According to initial information from the police, one person was hit by the train.
She was taken away by helicopter with serious injuries.
It was around 3 p.m. when the accident happened.
In Bad Tölz in the Oberes Griesfeld area, the train made an emergency stop.
Since then he has not been able to drive.
The passengers were evacuated on the open route.
Since the track goes along a steep embankment in the said area, the mountain rescue service and the fire brigade are probably also on duty.
According to police, none of the passengers on the train were injured.
Route closed for the time being
Train travelers in the Oberland must now expect considerable delays.
Connections sometimes fail completely.
“Currently, there is a route closure in the Oberland network between Bad Tölz and Gaißach due to an emergency doctor being deployed in the track area.
Trains are not possible on this section of the route.
There are high delays and cancellations in the entire BRB Oberland network.
From 4 p.m., one bus will be used as emergency bus service in Schaftlach and in Lenggries,” reports the Bavarian Regiobahn on its website.
