Many netizens pointed out that there were power outages in Tin Shui Wai and Yuen Long, and Tuen Mun Hospital was also affected, causing a major power outage in the hospital.

Lin Lin, a member of the Legislative Council of the Election Committee who lives in Yuen Long, had an operation earlier and needed to rest. However, the sudden power outage caught her by surprise. She has already spent the night at her family's home in Tsuen Wan.
Zhang Xinyu pointed out that the MTR has a backup power supply system. When an accident occurs on a section of the line, the backup line can be used to supply power, so the railway station restores power before other systems.

Zhang Xinyu said that when he inquired with CLP employees, the other party was also "very impatient", but he could only wait for the news to put out the fire before emergency repairs.
Zhang Xinyu's team pointed out that at 8:30 p.m., the lifts in Tin Shing Village and Tin Yiu Village in Shui Wai were generally normal, but the street lights and traffic lights were not powered on.

At 8:45 p.m., Zhang Xinyu pointed out that the general situation was under control, and it was significantly narrower than 8:30 p.m. The fire department continued to pour water. There were police officers at the scene to maintain traffic, and there were also police officers in various districts to prevent people from taking advantage of the fire.
The District Commissioner is contacting community centers with backup power in Tin Shui Wai and Yuen Long to open them as temporary shelters for residents who do not have electricity at home. Details are to be announced.

Lin Lin: Open the window and there is no wind
