Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that his country will continue to develop the armed forces and equip them with the latest weapons to confront threats to its security.
In today’s speech to the graduates of military education institutions, Putin said, “All the battles fought by our ancestors strengthened the combat glory of Russia, and today their descendants continue those battles, defending Donbass, fighting neo-Nazis in it, defending Russia’s sovereignty. Here comes the mighty and indomitable power of Russia.”
Putin stressed that Russia will continue to develop the Russian armed forces and provide them with the latest types of weapons to meet the challenges that threaten its security despite obstacles and difficulties, pointing out that the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile will enter service in the Russian armed forces at the end of this year.
