The Russian Defense Ministry revealed that the Ukrainian army and its Nazi battalions have equipped fortifications and fire points in medical facilities and schools in the Lugansk and Donetsk republics.
The Russia Today website quoted the head of the Russian National Defense Administration Center, Mikhail Mezintsev, as saying: “The Nazi nationalists prepared firing positions and sniper points in the Avdiivka city hospital on Komonalnaya Street on the outskirts of Donetsk, and the entrances leading to the hospital were mined,” noting that the residents were not informed about this intentionally.
Mizintsev noted that the Ukrainian armed formations equipped their barracks and deployed armored vehicles, artillery and rocket launchers in Slavyansk in a school on Kurchatov Street and the sanitary and epidemiological station on Svoboda Street, pointing out that the Nazi nationalists use the residents who were not evacuated from nearby houses as human shields.
He noted that the Ukrainian military had transformed the Lyschansk Regional Psychiatric Hospital in the Lugansk People's Republic into their stronghold, ammunition and weapons depots in the city of Privole, deployed armored vehicles and artillery, and forcibly detained civilians in the basement of the building.
"The Russian forces have evacuated more than two million people from dangerous areas of clashes in Ukraine and the Donbass republics," Mizintsev said, noting that during the past day, 21,947 people, including 3,826 children, were evacuated to Russia from dangerous areas in Ukraine and the Donbass republics.
Mizintsev explained that the total number of evacuees since the beginning of the military operation has reached 20002773, including 318,144 children, while Russia has secured more than 9.5 thousand centers to accommodate Ukrainian refugees in Russia, providing them with health and psychological care, providing them with financial aid and offering them vacant job opportunities.
