After almost four months of the Ukraine war, Germany has now disclosed which weapons it has already supplied to defend against Russia - and which Scholz still wants to make available.
Berlin - On Tuesday (June 21), the federal government disclosed which weapons Germany had already supplied to Ukraine to defend itself against Russia in the Ukraine war.
Previously, this was only visible to MPs.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has faced a lot of criticism in recent weeks for supplying too few weapons to Ukraine or unnecessarily delaying arms deliveries.
Weapons deliveries to Ukraine: Federal government puts list online
A list of the weapons delivered has been available on the federal government's website since Tuesday (June 22).
The website says: "This list gives an overview of German lethal and non-lethal military support services for Ukraine." Letal means deadly.
The list includes both weapons supplied from Bundeswehr stocks and supplies from the armaments industry that were financed by the government.
So far, Germany has supplied the following weapons in the Ukraine war, among others:
3000 bullets "Panzerfaust 3"
14,900 anti-tank mines
500 Stinger anti-aircraft missiles
2700 flying fists
16 million rounds of ammunition
100 MG 3 machine guns with 500 spare barrels and bolts
100,000 hand grenades
plus large amounts of equipment such as 23,000 helmets, 178 motor vehicles, 1,200 hospital beds, 10,000 sleeping bags and a field hospital

The German government's website also lists which weapons deliveries are still planned for Ukraine.
These include, among other things:
54 armored personnel carriers with armament
30 cheetah anti-aircraft tanks
Air defense system IRIS-T
three MARS multiple rocket launchers with ammunition
Cobra artillery detection radar
10,000 rounds of artillery ammunition
53,000 rounds of anti-aircraft ammunition
seven self-propelled howitzers 2000
On the other hand, a planned exchange of rings between Germany and Slovakia for tank deliveries to the Ukraine threatens to fail.
Germany offers too few tanks, criticizes the Slovak side.
