The anticipation is great: On Thursday, the Sweden Games will celebrate their premiere in Erding.
There is also a specially brewed Swedish beer.
It is served in the beer garden on the Grüner Markt.
Erding – The excitement is rising: the Sweden games will celebrate their premiere on Thursday.
The Volksspielgruppe Altenerding performs the open-air spectacle from June 23 to July 23 at 9 p.m. in front of the beautiful tower.
13 performances were planned, due to the great demand there is now an additional performance on July 13th.
Fischer's Stiftungsbräu has brewed a Swedish beer especially for this time, which is served in the beer garden of the Schwedenlager on the Grüner Markt.
During a small beer tasting, the folk play group led by chairman Erich Peinelt, Swedish beer garden host David Ritter and representatives of the brewery in the inn were convinced that the beer, which is called “1632” and was named after the year the Swedes invaded Erding, tastes good to the Erdinger Weißbräu.
"Brewed from the best malt and filtered to a fine shine, the dark beer invites you to enjoy it with its fine caramel notes, the typical bitterness and slight nuances of roasted nuts," says a statement from the brewery.
From Thursday, the people of Erding can see for themselves.
The beer garden in the Schwedenlager is open Thursday to Saturday from 4 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
