Syrian-Iranian talks on developing development projects

The Syrian Ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Shafik Diop, discussed with the Assistant Head of the Judiciary Authority and Head of the Real Estate Records Organization in Iran, Dr. Hassan Babaei, ways of cooperation on organizing the mapping of historical, cultural and religious places.

The two sides stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation and strengthening it in various fields, including organizing, surveying, planning, documenting and mapping religious, historical and cultural places and the frameworks regulating this in a way that serves the reconstruction process in Syria.

Dr. Babaei expressed his country's readiness to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Syrian side in the fields of intellectual property, urban and rural surveying, descriptive maps, company registration, real estate registry, holding training courses and technology transfer to the Syrian side.

For his part, the Syrian ambassador stressed the importance of exchanging expertise and technical experiences in the field of registry and real estate interests, which opens up other horizons for bilateral cooperation, pointing out that the promotion of scientific and technological research contributes to supplying these vital areas with fruitful practical plans that reflect positively on development projects and infrastructure in the two countries.
