The incident in which a Palestinian national was killed during a confrontation between Jews and Palestinians near Ariel continues to cause a storm in Judea and Samaria.
According to the Palestinian version, a young Palestinian was stabbed to death in the area of the village of Salfit in Samaria.
The victim is Ali Hassan Harb, 27. According to the Palestinians, a sword was stabbed in the chest by a Jew in the village of Eskaka, east of Salfit.
Local sources noted that the stabbing occurred when a sword and other residents of the village went out to protest around a tent set up by settlers in the land near the village in an attempt to take control of it.

Police forces arrived at the scene from which a wounded Palestinian was evacuated in a critical condition apparently from a stab wound.
