He jumped out of the prison van that was taking him to the palace before scaling the walls and finally being tackled to the ground by a prison officer.

An individual tried to escape from the Créteil court on Monday June 20, we learned on Tuesday from a police source.

While he was at the depot for a narcotics case, with a warrant to bring him before an investigating judge, the suspect jumped from the police van in which he was being transported, then climbed the walls and finally jumped to the outside the palace grounds.

He had not traveled ten meters when a prison officer caught him and tackled him to the ground with the support of a police officer.

On May 3, an inmate from the central house in Valence escaped during a cultural outing to the Upie zoo, in the Drôme.

Ahmed B., 43, had taken advantage of a short moment of solitude in the park toilets to flee, right in front of the prison officers.

He had been apprehended almost a week later near the home of his companion, in the Lyon region.
