Officials in the Biden administration told CNN that Israel does not inform the United States about its actions in Iran • The Americans are worried that the regime in Tehran is linking the Israeli assassination system to its own survival and may act recklessly

Israel does not inform the United States of the attacks or assassinations it is allegedly carrying out on Iran, not even personally to senior Biden government officials, the US news network CNN reported tonight (Tuesday) in a major article on tensions with Iran.

Senior US administration and defense officials told the news network that despite the fact that Israel does not pass on any information about its operations in Iran to Washington, the administration has in no way asked Israel to stop the operations.

Senior government officials have expressed concern to the network that a calculation error on the part of Israel or Iran will lead to an escalation of the escalation and that the chances of such a development are "higher than ever."

"The more Israel pushes Iran, especially now that negotiations on the nuclear deal seem dead, the more likely it is that Iran will decide to push Israel back," Jonathan Panikoff, a former senior member of the US National Security Council, told the news network.

Senior government officials have expressed concern over the fact that the Iranian regime has begun to link the need to bring about a halt to the assassinations in Iran's territory to its very survival, which could lead to Iran taking extreme action.

Along with reports of hiding Israeli operations from the United States, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid spoke tonight with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The two discussed President Biden's visit.

The visit will be an opportunity to emphasize the President's deep personal connection to Israel, to the United States' commitment to Israel's security and to strengthen Israel in the region.

The Foreign Ministry believes that the visit has significant implications for the region and the struggle against Iran and has tremendous potential to significantly upgrade regional stability and security.

Foreign Minister Lapid briefed the Secretary of State on his upcoming flight to Turkey and on joint anti-terrorism activities with the Turkish government.

In Iran, the apparent panic of Israeli assassinations continues.

The Attorney General of the Zahaden Province in Iran announced this morning that his men had captured an Israeli assassination squad that planned to assassinate the country's nuclear scientists.

According to the report, quoted by the Iranian news agency Tassanim, the unit operated in the Sistine-Baluchistan region in the east of the country, but the number of assassins arrested and their identities were not revealed by the authorities.

In addition, the country's judiciary has announced that three alleged Mossad agents arrested by the Iranians in April will soon stand trial.

Meanwhile, media outlets affiliated with the Iranian opposition have published a report according to which a senior engineer in the Iranian defense industry was shot dead last night near the capital Tehran.

The assassins reportedly shot dead the senior engineer and two of his aides and managed to escape from the shooting scene.

The report did not release any verification from other sources and did not include photos or documentation of the assassination victim, as has happened in other cases in the past.
