Oracle is reaping the rewards of its massive investments in cloud infrastructure.
Starting last six years ago on the starting line in the race for large cloud infrastructure and platform providers (“hyperscalers”), it has entered
“a phase of hypergrowth”,
according to its general manager, Safra Catz. .
The American group, which is inaugurating its second data center in France this week, at La Courneuve, experienced a 39% growth in demand for its infrastructure worldwide in the fourth quarter.
Thanks to the cloud, over its entire 2022 fiscal year, it recorded its best organic growth in ten years.

Since November, Oracle has opened 11 new cloud “regions,” bringing the total number available worldwide to 38.
