ZDF deletes the TV garden on June 26: the broadcaster relies on sports broadcasts instead

In the warm months, Andrea Kiewel is actually sure of her Sunday slot with the “ZDF-Fernsehgarten”.

On June 26, however, the entertainment show has to take a forced break: the Mainz broadcaster shows a sports broadcast instead.

Mainz - In the spring and summer months, the "ZDF TV Garden" reliably provides the best entertainment on Sunday mornings - actually!

Because on June 26, the popular cult show with moderator Andrea Kiewel will be canceled.

Instead, the decision of the multi-sport event "The Finals", which will take place next weekend (June 25th and 26th) in Berlin, is running on ZDF.

Triathlon, rowing, swimming, athletics - a total of 14 sports are on the program at "The Finals - Berlin 2022".

In the German capital, well-known athletes are currently competing in various disciplines at the multi-sport event, which was held for the first time in 2019.

Sports fans in particular will get their money's worth here.

For the fans of the "ZDF TV Garden" this means bad news at the same time: Because "The Finals" are in full swing on Sunday, Andrea Kiewel has to suspend

(all broadcast dates of the "ZDF TV Garden" in 2022).

The fair episode from last Sunday (June 19) remains the last episode of the cult show.

No "ZDF television garden" on Sunday – Andrea Kiewel returns on July 3rd

But it's already going on at the beginning of July: On July 3rd, the "ZDF TV Garden" returns regularly.

There is then a big music quiz - including with "Let's Dance" legend Joachim Llambi as co-moderator.

Andrea Kiewel will continue to provide the best Sunday entertainment in the coming weeks.

Last Sunday, however, the presenter provided a memorable moment before the break: When Andrea Kiewel posed for a photo with a "ZDF TV Garden" fan, he burst into tears.
