In the hall of the Directorate of Education in Al-Hasakah Governorate, the art of decoration in its various forms and colors was the focus of the paintings of the plastic artist Amna Al-Awad, which is in her second solo exhibition, where the geometric shapes were mixed and mixed with distinctive color gradations that left an impressive impression on the hearts of visitors.
The exhibition, which included 50 paintings, carried the themes of the art of decoration in its different schools, ancient and modern, especially the Damascene brocade, which reflects the originality and nobility of the Syrian art of decoration. There is the ancient Indian decoration and the Mandela, in addition to some Islamic decorations and their beautiful formations, taking care that the colors of the exhibition are rich, cheerful and gradual according to each art.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Al-Awad indicated that the exhibition panels included a painting of a feather in which the colors of the flag of the Syrian Arab Republic ripple, indicating that science, knowledge and the eradication of ignorance inspire our children through our schools, and that the attempts of armed terrorist organizations and occupation forces to prevent teaching and closing schools will not discourage our children from access to their schools.
A number of attendees, including teachers Ahmed Al-Yassin and Kawthar Al-Hassan, confirmed that they are facing a rich and unique experience compared to the rest of what is displayed during the plastic arts exhibitions, as rarely any paintings specialized in the art of decoration are shown, pointing to the importance and ability of the artist to present paintings in which various Arab and Islamic art schools are mixed. and oriental.
And the artist Al-Awad participated in many joint exhibitions, but her first solo exhibition was held on the nineteenth of last April at the Arab Cultural Center in the city of Hasaka, in which she presented about 100 paintings.
