Alleged murder of a young woman in Vienna: Police find body in apartment – two men arrested

Rescue workers find the body of a young woman in a Viennese apartment.
Two men, with whom the woman is said to have previously celebrated, were arrested.
Vienna – A tragic, suspected murder case is currently keeping all of Austria in suspense.
Last Sunday (June 19), the police found the body of a 20-year-old woman in a municipal apartment in Vienna-Floridsdorf.
Initial indications and testimonies point to a homicide.
Two suspects were arrested hours after the body was found.
The investigation is still ongoing.

reports, an emergency call was received on the relevant Sunday morning.
A 25-year-old had alerted the emergency services because of an apparently "unconscious" person, the paramedics' subsequent attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful.
A little later, the police found a 30-year-old friend of the caller in the basement, who is said to have been hiding there.
Both people are Austrians and were arrested on Sunday.
The Vienna police did not want to provide any further information.
An autopsy, which has since been carried out, has determined that the woman died as a result of external influence.
Suspected murder in Vienna: residents describe frightening events
While the investigators were sparing with the information, a resident described his observations from the previous night to the portal: His neighbor went into the apartment with a woman and another man around 9 p.m., the three of them had “party all night did".
Until then, he hadn't noticed anything unusual about the situation, according to the resident: "First they had a party and then they started arguing, I think they tussled too."
As a result, the party then escalated noticeably, he finally noticed a "rattle" - possibly the sequence of events, he suspected.
"Then I yelled out the window, 'Hey, what's going on!
Stop it!'
Then it lasted a few minutes – then it stopped.” One of the two men then ran out of the apartment and broke the glass in a door with his foot.
The other suspect stayed in the apartment with the woman.
At that time, nothing more was heard from her, according to the local resident.
