Today, the Armenian capital, Yerevan, witnessed a protest march against biological laboratories operating in Armenia and funded by the US side.
According to RIA Novosti, the protesters gathered in front of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, some of whom were wearing gas masks.
One of the organizers of the event, head of the “Zartunk” party, Ara Zahrabian, said: Eight biological laboratories are working in Armenia, funded by the US Department of Defense.
According to Zehrabian, the Armenian community should reject this program because it poses a threat to public health and human experiments may be conducted in these laboratories, stressing that the country's legislation and international treaties prevent the development and production of biological weapons.
