Following the freezing of the decision following the rocket fire: Defense Minister Bnei Gantz decided tonight (Wednesday) to increase the quota of work permits and trade for Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
Following a security assessment, Minister Ganz decided to increase the quotas by another 2,000, so that there are a total of 14,000 quotas.
The decision was frozen last weekend following rocket fire at the State of Israel.
According to the announcement of the coordinator of the operations of the territories, the implementation of the decision will begin this coming Sunday, provided that the security calm in the area is maintained.
"The continuation of civilian policy will be possible in accordance with the assessment of the situation and the preservation of security stability," the statement said.
