The Brucker Kulturnacht returns on Saturday, July 9th.

This year it also provides a place for reflection.

Fürstenfeldbruck - "Lots and lots of well-tried things, but also new ideas" - that's what Diana Rupprecht, head of the city library in the Aumühle, promises for the Brucker Culture Night on July 9th.

What is new this year is a somewhat more serious venue that makes you think: the exhibition "#StolenMemory" (in German: "Stolen Memory") can be seen on Niederbronnerplatz.

When visiting the traveling exhibition, which is packed in a walk-in, blue and red container, participants can ask themselves one profound question during the culture night: "What would be missing in your family if an object was lost?"

The audio walk “Hier.

FFB 1933-1945”, which tells about the events in the city during the Nazi era.

"The culture night should also stimulate thought, not just distract and be fun," says Diana Rupprecht during the presentation of the program.

togetherness and solidarity

Also on Niederbronnerplatz, the themes of "togetherness and solidarity" are in the foreground.

Konvolut, a group of young people from the district, is transforming the square into a creative area.

The motto: “Growing together – growing together”.

On the one hand, young and old can create a great work of art together.

On the other hand, there will be a plant swap exchange on site.

Here offshoots and seedlings can be handed in and exchanged.

In addition to Niederbronnerplatz, there are events at eleven other locations: The Old Town Hall, with theatre, folk music and singing, and the Jexhof Farm Museum, which hosts a 1980s dance night.

The Stadtwerke Fürstenfeldbruck invite you to the energy museum - and present their old hydroelectric power station up close.

Relaxation in the monastery church

“You can relax a bit in the monastery church, away from the hustle and bustle of the other places,” says Diana Rupprecht.

During the culture night, Stefanie and Simon Probst play works by greats such as Mozart and Bach on the flute and organ.

Cellists Sarah Moser and Balàzs Dolfin also play songs by famous composers in House 10.

Dolfin stands in for Theresa Strasser at short notice, who is mentioned in the published programs.

Other venues for the culture night are the district office, the Lichtspielhaus cinema on Maisacher Straße, the Fürstenfeldbruck museum, the new stage in Bruck, the salt tower in the Stadtbauhof and the Aumühle public library.

Again this year, shuttle buses will take the participants from place to place.

"Four young men from the district play music on the bus and encourage people to sing along," says museum director Barbara Kink.

An Agenda 21 bike taxi is also available during the evening.

It starts and ends at the cinema.

Visitors with the so-called wristband ticket have access to all locations of the Kulturnacht and free travel on the shuttle bus.

pre sales

The ticket wristband is available in advance at the town hall, in the Fürstenfeldbruck museum, in the cinema on Maisacher Straße, in the Aumühle public library and in the Jexhof farm museum in Schöngeising.

It costs ten (reduced five) euros.
