The bus drivers are intensifying their struggle in the Ministry of Transport, and this morning (Wednesday) they announced another strike this coming Sunday.
The strike will begin at 06:00 in the morning and end at 09:00 - a peak time for road congestion.
The strike is being led by drivers unionized by the Histadrut, after they said Transport Minister Meirav Michaeli had not agreed to hold a meeting with them regarding their demands.
Following the strike, severe traffic disruptions and congestion are expected across the country, and the organization has called on the public of passengers and drivers to prepare accordingly.

On Friday, the drivers went on strike, following a series of previous Saturdays as part of their protest over the reform promoted by Michaeli and the Ministry of Transportation on buses.
"Unfortunately, the minister did not have time for the drivers' pleas to meet with them and resolve their distress," the Histadrut said.
"We went on a number of unlimited strikes until the minister woke up and took care of the public who are on the road for 14 hours a day and alone hold Israeli transportation on their shoulders."
She added that "we are not going on election leave - we are daily suffering and endangering ourselves and the traveling public on another minister does not intervene. The struggle will escalate and this is just the beginning."
