Surfers photographed attacking unmanned aircraft in the heart of Russia's territory as Ukraine stepped up efforts to harm Moscow's petrochemical industry • Yesterday, several Russian gas rigs were attacked in the Black Sea and satellite footage revealed severe damage to facilities

Unusual documentation emerging from Russia today (Wednesday) indicates a change of trend in Ukraine's strategy towards Russia and reveals that Kyiv is in the midst of a move against the Russian oil and gas industry, the main source of income of the Putin regime.

A short video of a few seconds shows a suicide UAV attack, apparently a model made in Ukraine, on a petrochemical plant in the Rostov Oblast in southern Russia.

According to reports in Ukraine, the factory belongs to the pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk, who was arrested in Ukraine in April after going underground after being suspected of treason and aiding Russia.

Ownership of the facility may be part of the reason for the attack, but it is more likely that it is a total move by the Ukrainian army to harm the Russian oil industry and thus charge an additional price from Moscow for its invasion of Ukraine.

Russian oil rigs after the Ukrainian attack,

A series of satellite photos were released yesterday showing damage to at least three Russian gas rigs in the heart of the Black Sea.

The photographs showed a fierce fire burning in one of the rigs and black smoke rising from two others.

Sources in Kiev have estimated that this is an attack by the Ukrainian Air Force.

The change of direction of Kyiv comes at a time when the situation of the Ukrainians on the front of the Donbas region continues to deteriorate.

Yesterday, Russian forces managed to occupy the town of Toszkivka south of the cities of Swarodontsk and Lisichensk and threatened the bulk of the Ukrainian power in the siege.

This is the first significant achievement for the Russian army in more than a week of shuffling and heavy losses.

In the south of the country however several successful counter-attacks by the Ukrainian army have been reported in Kherson district.
