Exhibition: spies celebrate Gaullist heritage

For the exhibition "The General's Secret Agents", the DGSE and the Order of the Liberation unveil unpublished.


Fearsome hat pin used to defend oneself in case of need, 38 caliber "gas launcher" pen imagined by the American Office of Strategic Services (OSS), mini compass of escape the size of a cufflink designed by the British M19s for illegal immigrants and commandos parachuted into France… These gadgets, which look like they have come straight out of an Ian Fleming novel and some of which have never yet been revealed to the public, are among the 128 “nuggets” presented at the Museum of Order of the Liberation, as part of an exceptional exhibition entitled "The General's Secret Agents".
