A new study found that exposure to any kind of light during sleep is linked to obesity and serious health problems.
The research, published in the journal Sleep, gave 552 adults between the ages of 63 and 84 a device that measures sleep cycles, average movement and light exposure.
They found that those who were exposed to greater amounts of light at night were more likely to have diabetes, high blood pressure or obesity.
