Freising holiday children travel with Robin Hood to Tierra del Fuego or to the pool party at the beach club

The children of Freising shouldn't get bored during the summer holidays.
The city youth welfare team has created a sophisticated holiday program.

– What Hannah Hoffmann from the Stadtjugendpflege is particularly happy about: “Finally there are many sports clubs on board again” – such as the TSC-Seewolf Freising, which is offering snorkeling for children from nine to 14 years for the first time.
In addition to the very large range of sports, including a capoeira taster course and climbing in the Freising climbing hall, there are of course numerous excursions again this year: for example to the pirate treasure hunt on Lake Chiemsee or to the escape rooms in Neufahrn.
Young artists are also supported by the city's youth welfare service, because anyone who wants to can take part in a theater workshop, try out painting at the Schafhof or create soapstone sculptures.
The specials
"Some offers will be very popular," believes Hoffmann.
That's why there are raffles again this year.
This means that interested parties can register online from June 26th, and from June 28th the free places will be raffled if there is high demand.
Registration is only possible online after registration, not via email.
Telephone registration can only take place in exceptional cases.

For Mayor Eva Bönig, Freising always offers a holiday program that other cities can learn from, and this time too.
Above all, the success story of the adventure playground at the Sebaldhaus is "terrific", which is also due to the commitment of the manager Gabi Dworsky.
The transformation
During the holiday season, the Sebaldhaus will be transformed into the home of Robin Hood, with Katzenstein Castle, a forest and castle workshop, jousting tournaments and archery practice in the Sebald Forest.
"Each kid is free to choose whether they want to join Robin Hood or move into the castle," explained Dworsky.
From August 1st to September 9th, the participants in Tierra del Fuego can prepare their own menu, have fun at juggler markets or play bowling in Sir Helmut's throne room to their heart's content.
On August 3rd, a traveling wood turner even comes to introduce the children to his art.
What is important to Dworsky because of the concept: "The children should also use the booked week and not just come one day."
The madhouse
On the other hand, it gets pretty "chilled" in the Tollhaus, because there the saying goes during the long holidays: "Check in and spend an unforgettable summer holiday in the Tollhaus Beach Club".
In addition to a pool area and a wellness oasis, there is an animation program, exciting tournaments and creative workshops: So the south is coming to Freising.
According to director Tanja Wilke, 70 places are available per week, for the little ones it is a requirement that they have completed their first year of school.
Wilke is also important: "It would be very desirable if the children came all week." What is sometimes forgotten: cancellations if an appointment cannot be kept.
"Please call in good time so that the space is free again," says Hoffmann.
