The Ministry of Health granted nurses, nurses and midwives graduates of the nursing schools affiliated to the Ministry who objected to their appointment an additional three months to complete the procedures for their appointment.
The ministry clarified in an announcement that SANA received a copy of it today that graduates of the nursing schools affiliated with the ministry are given an additional three months to complete their appointment procedures, starting from the 19th of June until the 19th of September.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the Director of Health Professions at the Ministry, Dr. Ammar Al-Bunni, stated that graduates of nursing schools affiliated with the Ministry of Health are obligated to work in hospitals and health centers affiliated with them for a period equivalent to twice the years of schooling.
Dr. Al-Bunni stressed the importance of granting a term to those who object to the appointment to meet the need for health cadres on the one hand and take into account the conditions of some graduates who were unable to complete the procedures for their appointment due to their own circumstances, noting that there are currently 11 nursing schools in various governorates.
