After an accident in Bad Tölz, 48 people were evacuated from a train on Tuesday afternoon.
There were significant delays and cancellations in the Bavarian Oberlandbahn network.
Update from June 21, 6:30 p.m .:
A serious accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Bad Tölz on the route of the Bavarian Regiobahn.
The train then stopped in the Oberes Griesfeld area.
The fire brigade and mountain rescue service evacuated 46 passengers, a train attendant and the train driver.
None of the passengers were harmed.
The accident happened around 3 p.m.
Numerous rescue workers were alerted.
A seriously injured person was transported from the track area, which is in impassable terrain, by rescue helicopter after first aid.

The train had applied an emergency brake and could not continue after that.
The Tölz fire brigade, which was on site with 25 people, and around ten active members of the Tölz mountain rescue service began evacuating the train about half an hour after the accident.
The track runs in this area along a steep embankment, the passengers could not easily get off there.
The emergency services built a rescue platform for them, which the travelers could first climb down on, as Hermann John from the fire brigade reports.
From there they were accompanied by rescue workers along the railway embankment about 100 meters across the meadow to Obere Griesfeld.
An emergency bus was waiting there to take people to the Tölz train station.
The BRK crisis intervention team took over the care of the train driver.
Major delays and cancellations in the BRB network in the Oberland
For travelers in the Oberland, the incident resulted in significant delays and cancellations.
According to the publication on the website of the Bavarian Regiobahn (BRB), the route between Bad Tölz and Gaißach was closed due to the emergency doctor's intervention.
According to the BRB, this affected the entire Oberland network.
From 4 p.m., the BRB used a bus as emergency transport in Schaftlach and Lenggries.
At around 5:20 p.m., the company announced on the Internet that the railway line would be released again shortly and train traffic would start again.
