At a time when the Head of State is forced to revise his plans, for lack of having been able to secure a clear majority in the National Assembly, the hypothesis of a national unity government is resurfacing.
Emmanuel Macron would have mentioned this option during his talks on Tuesday with the boss of the PCF Fabien Roussel and the leader of the RN deputies Marine Le Pen, said the latter two.
The first secretary of the PS, Olivier Faure, and the president of LR, Christian Jacob, for their part indicated that this subject had not been discussed during their exchange with the President of the Republic.
