Hama, SANA- The University of Hama and the National Development Association for Science and Technology signed today a memorandum of understanding to promote education

Hama University and the National Development Association for Science and Technology signed today a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in various fields of scientific research, vocational training, cultural, programming and technology fields.

And the President of the University, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Salem, said in a statement to SANA reporter after the signing at the university headquarters that the memorandum aims to exchange experiences and enhance the scientific, professional and technical aspect of university students, especially in the establishment and organization of workshops in the field of programming and technology and how to provide support to university students and holding training courses and lectures to raise the efficiency of Students and benefit from the experience of the teaching and technical staff in the faculties of Hama University in this regard.

For his part, Dr. Munqith Al-Akkad, President of the National Development Association for Science and Technology in Hama, pointed out that the memorandum includes the establishment of training workshops in the field of critical and creative thinking skills and dialogue sessions to refine the personalities and attitudes of students and raise their own creative skills on topics of culture and science, education and labor markets, and the establishment of an intellectual and cultural forum and a forum Science and Technology Annual.

Al-Akkad noted that the association, which was established in 2019, is concerned with supporting and developing scientific thinking skills for the young generation and community cohesion, encouraging researchers, embracing academics, supporting software and the digital environment, as well as activating the work of the Science Film Club and holding workshops in cooperation with the Aga Khan Development Foundation and international organizations on developing technical knowledge for a generation Young people and educate them on how to deal with it.

The memorandum of understanding will last for three years and is subject to extension. It also includes providing advisory support to students in preparing graduation projects and in the field of applied and theoretical sciences, and setting up training programs in the art of debate to enhance skills of focus, communication and interaction.
