A man was taken into custody on Wednesday around 1:00 a.m. for having stung "
at least two people
" with syringes during the music festival in Nancy, the city prosecutor's office said.

The suspect was arrested by the police who found two syringes in his backpack, said the public prosecutor, François Pérain.
One of the victims had gone to see police officers on patrol shortly after midnight, indicating that he had been bitten by an individual whose description she gave "
and specified that he had filmed him
", added the magistrate.

According to the elements of the investigation, the victim said that a man "
had thrown himself on him for the first time, then had apologized, advancing a clumsiness

Seeing the man walking away, she followed him and filmed him before going to the police.

At the same time, another victim had gone to find another police patrol to denounce similar facts, giving "
a description of his attacker identical to that of the first victim
".
This second victim explained to the investigators that he had spoken with the suspect who then grabbed her on the right wrist.
Pushing him away, she felt “
a sting in the arm
”.
She then went to the emergency room and obtained a medical certificate “
stating a trace of a bite
”.
