No landings in Hamburg possible: concrete break-up on the runway

Due to a broken concrete on the runway, no planes can currently land at Hamburg Airport.
A spokeswoman for the airport said the damage was discovered on Wednesday during a runway inspection.
It had been decided that it had to be repaired immediately.
A repair team is in action.
"We assume that the repairs will be completed in the course of the afternoon," said the spokeswoman.
Hamburg - Planes with destination Hamburg could not land and would be diverted.
Flights could also be cancelled.
Starts are still possible.
One of the airport's two take-off and landing runways is currently undergoing routine maintenance.
The damage is in the slope cross.
