Those who spend a long time in the "Kiss and Fly" zone at Stuttgart Airport have to dig deep into their pockets.

A motorist therefore attacked a parking lot attendant.

Stuttgart - Parking is sometimes an expensive undertaking in many cities and districts in Baden-Württemberg, but also throughout Germany.

Since April 1, parking in Freiburg has cost twelve times as much as before, which caused a great deal of irritation among the citizens.

Prices were also increased in the state capital of Stuttgart - especially at Stuttgart Airport.

In the past, there were repeated traffic restrictions in the priority area on the departures level at Terminals 1 and 3 because cars stayed there for a long time.

Since the beginning of the year, long farewells at the airport have come at a high price - much to the annoyance of motorists.

Brawl over high parking fees at Stuttgart airport

The prices in the so-called "Kiss and Fly" zone at Stuttgart Airport have been the subject of discussion for months.

You can only park for free for eight minutes in front of the terminals.

If the time is exceeded, the price for those who park will increase sharply.

A driver got so angry when he looked at the parking price that he attacked a parking controller on site, as reported by BW24.

He had to pay a whopping 20 euros to park his car.

How much does it cost to park in the Kiss and Fly zone:

up to 8 minutes

free of charge

8 to 10 minutes

5 euros

According to the police, the 48-year-old driver was very upset about the amount requested and complained to the parking lot attendant.

During the dispute, the parking fee increased again to 30 euros due to the passage of time.

That was the last straw for the 48-year-old, who attacked the parking lot.

Another rushed to help.

The opponents were slightly injured in the argument.

Many a dispute has already flared up in German parking lots

It is not uncommon for people to see red in parking lots and let their anger run free.

In Massachusetts (USA), the driver of a Mercedes-Benz boldly blocked two parking spaces at a supermarket.

Frustrated customers then took revenge on the Mercedes driver.

Among other things, customers regularly complain about e-cars that block charging stations and scrounge electricity.

However, some users on social media cannot understand the behavior of the driver at Stuttgart Airport and consider the reaction to be exaggerated.

"As if the parking controller is responsible for the "Kiss and Fly" tariffs," a user commented on the attack on Twitter.

"It's your own fault, the idiot.

Anyone who can read has a clear advantage,” writes another on Facebook.

The situation at the airports in the country is exhausted anyway: airlines are canceling numerous flights because there is a lack of staff.

In Stuttgart, however, one still holds against it.
