The Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport announced the extension of restrictions on flights at 11 airports in the south and center of the country until the end of this month.
"Temporary flight restrictions will remain in effect at the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista until June 30," TASS quoted the agency as saying in a statement.
Russia closed part of its airspace in the south of the country to civilian aircraft on February 24, following the special military operation in Ukraine.
