Road users complain to the police
According to the police, road users complained to the police on Monday around 10:30 a.m. that several warning figures, so-called street buddies, were once again set up on a local connecting road in Fischbach.
The figures are intended to encourage drivers to be considerate of children playing and to drive more slowly.

Motorists have to slalom around figures
In fact, however, the 28-year-old resident had placed three figures in such a way that they reached up to 1.50 meters into the roadway and the drivers practically had to drive slalom.
There was no risk involved.
Local residents have already been warned by the police
A few days ago, however, the resident was asked by a patrol crew not to place the warning figures directly on the road.
The man is now awaiting an administrative offense report.
Warning figures must not stand on the road
In this context, the police point out that such warning figures may only be set up on private property away from the roadway.
Otherwise, in the worst case, there is even a risk of being reported because of dangerous intervention in road traffic and liability in the event of a traffic accident.
