The head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Gershon Edelstein, referred to the dissolution of the government last night in his weekly conversation and said that she did not survive following her request to "forget their Torah and cancel everything that is sacred, so there is special supervision that everything is canceled."
The Rosh Yeshiva added that "in recent times, there have been plans of decrees from the previous government, there have been plans of decrees to forget your teachings and pass them by the laws of your will, everything that is sacred, to abolish everything, and to be like all the peoples of Israel, that was the goal."
In the words of Rabbi Edelstein: "Why did the government not succeed? Because the honor of heaven is that there is no success in such things, who continue to engage in Torah, wanted to make decrees against Torah and mitzvos, against everything."
"The grace of heaven that everything is nullified, see special providence that they can engage in Torah, special providence, engage in Torah properly," he added.
