Buying and selling precious stones with two people they met on Instagram turned into a millionaire theft for a 47-year-old American-born merchant.
The three met last night in a hotel in the Certosa area of Milan.

, worth one million euros, disappeared when the trader went away to take a third stone to show to potential buyers, who fled with the briefcase full of money they were supposed to buy.
The police, who intervened after the American's alarm, investigated to identify and track down the perpetrators of the theft.
