The heat wave of the past few days is far from over.
The German weather service again warns of hot temperatures and thunderstorms - especially in the south of the country.
Stuttgart - In the past few days, the heat has provided many hours of sunshine in many places, but the heat wave of the past few days has not yet passed.
The southwest of Baden-Württemberg in particular could start sweating again on Tuesday.
In its forecast, the German Weather Service (DWD) again warns of a high heat load with maximum temperatures of up to 31 degrees on the southern Upper Rhine and on the High Rhine.
In the course of the day, individual thunderstorms can also be expected from the mountains, some of which could also be severe.
Heavy rain of up to 40 liters per square meter within an hour and hail with grain sizes of up to two centimeters cannot be ruled out.
Wednesday and Thursday: The risk of thunderstorms in Germany increases
For Wednesday, the DWD expects that the risk of such severe thunderstorms will increase again.
Heavy gusts of wind with wind speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour are also possible.
Thunderstorms with heavy rain are also expected on Thursday.
