One of the Elon Musk daughters says she no longer wants to carry her father's last name, nor does she want to feel identified or connected with him in any way.

Xavier Alexander Musk is Musk's daughter from her first marriage to Justine Wilson.

Musk's trans daughter, who turned 18 this year, filed the petition in Los Angeles County court.

She now wants to be called Vivian Jenna Wilson, bearing only her mother's last name, Justine Wilson, who is the mother of five of her seven children.

The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has been married three times and has had children with two of his partners.

The first marriage was with Justine Wilson, between the years 2000 and 2008. He separated from her shortly after.

Wilson is the mother of five of her seven children:

Nevada, died when she was 10 weeks old.

The twins Griffin and Xavier, born in 2004. The latter is the one who wants to change his name.

And the triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai, who were born two years later, in 2006.

Following his divorce from Wilson, Musk was married to Talulah Riley from 2010 to 2012 and then from 2013 to 2016. He separated from her twice.

He did not have any children.

Later, Musk announced a relationship with Canadian singer Claire Elise Boucher, better known as Grimes, mother of his two youngest children, who have drawn attention for their particular names.

In 2020, Musk and Grimes welcomed their first child together whom they initially named X Æ A-12.

Days later they would change their name to X Æ A-Xii.

Musk looks at his new baby in this tweet posted by his mother in May 2020. The baby, named X Æ A-12, is his first child with Grimes.

He has five other children from a previous marriage.

"X" means "the unknown variable".

While "Æ" is the elvish spelling of AI, the English abbreviation for artificial intelligence, and the word "love" in various languages, including Japanese.

"A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Excellent in battle, but not violent," he added.

He stated that "A" in the name also stands for "Archangel", the name of his favorite song.

Musk and Grimes announced their split in September 2021, but Grimes described the status of their relationship as "very fluid."

And in March 2022, Musk and Grimes welcomed their youngest daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk.

The girl was born via surrogacy last December, Grimes revealed in a wide-ranging interview with Vanity Fair published Thursday.

Although the 33-year-old Canadian musician apparently had no intention of announcing the birth of her second child, nicknamed "Y," she shared the news after Vanity Fair reporter Devin Gordon heard a baby cry.
