Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reiterated that accusing her country of creating world famine is part of the ongoing media campaign against it, stressing that the Kyiv regime is impeding the export of grain from Ukraine.
Zakharova said during a press conference today in Moscow: “Accusing Russia of creating conditions threatening famine and harming food security in the world is part of the ongoing media campaign against it;
We have not prevented the export of grain from Ukraine and the Kyiv regime is the one who is setting export barriers, and we do not hear a word from the West about it.”
Zakharova pointed out that the Ukrainian regime has planted about 500 naval mines in the waters of the Black Sea and is holding more than 70 ships in Ukrainian ports, indicating that Moscow is ready to help export grain from Ukraine through foreign ships.
Zakharova indicated that Russia is ready to fulfill all its commitments regarding grain and energy exports, providing by the end of the year 25 million tons of grain and no less than 22 million tons of fertilizers.
Zakharova indicated that the Kyiv regime continues to target civilians and infrastructure in the Donbass region and does not want to stop these hostilities to please the West, which continues to supply Ukraine with huge quantities of weapons.
