Zhang Xiaoming, Executive Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council, was appointed as the Deputy Secretary-General of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and added to the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Zhang Xiaoming has been working in Hong Kong and Macau since the 1980s and served as the director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in 2017.
