Exploitation, lines for his character:
The cost of living in Israel is sharpening for Israeli consumers when they encounter item prices of international brands abroad.
For the shoes that Daniela Papu from Tel Aviv ordered on Zara's Israeli website, the original price tag was left: 79.95 euros and £ 89.99, which are NIS 291.2, for shoes that cost her NIS 569. On Zara's British website, they are offered for NIS 425.
"I do not order on sites abroad because I have a harder time with the English language," Papu told Israel Today, "but it's crazy, it's a difference of 280 shekels.
I have previously discovered such a gap in their jeans, which stood at NIS 100.
"I follow women who buy through Turkey, for example, and boots that someone bought for NIS 170 cost me NIS 399 in the winter. When such gaps are discovered, it's just not fair."
The Israeli Consumer Council said that "section 17B of the Consumer Protection Law requires dealers to present the total price of the goods, and the price presentation will only be in Israeli currency, in a visible place."
