What is colonial governance?

Indonesia was colonized by the Netherlands for many years, and a large number of Indonesians were killed by the Dutch.

India was also colonized by the British for many years, but was not completely whitened in the end.

So what is a colony?

Canada and Australia are British colonies.

South America is a colony of Portugal and Spain.

North America is the colony of Britain and Europe. It was permanently invaded by white people and became their land. They went to South America to kill the Mayans, wiped out the Mayan civilization, and wiped out the Indians in North America.

After colonial rule, Hong Kong was a relatively successful example, but the success of Hong Kong was due to China's reform and opening-up policy, which drove Hong Kong to break away from colonial rule.

In contrast, look at India, where the colonial rulers left and gave India democratic elections, but printed to address poverty?

Does India address social class inequity?

Generally speaking, Western colonization is to take its own economic interests as its absolute goal. Like pirates and robbers, they go everywhere to plunder by force, and even destroy civilization by force.

Why make clear to young people the difference between colonial governance and colonization?

It is to let them know the history of the world.

The culture dominated by the West in the world today was created through violent blood slaughter, and many excellent civilizations were wiped out by the violent plundering of the West.

Hong Kong education should teach a non-Western perspective on world history, and introduce how the West plundered land by force of war and colonized it.
