A teenager might bitterly regret the story he tried to tell his little brother.
He triggered a large-scale police operation near Vaterstetten (Ebersberg district).
Vaterstetten/Parsdorf -
Two people on the side of the road stop a police car for help: a 14-year-old and his father from the area of Vaterstetten.
The father told the officers that his son had told him that three unknown perpetrators had thrown incendiary devices at him thirty minutes ago in Parsdorf and then tried to snatch the bicycle he was carrying.
A large-scale police operation begins late Wednesday afternoon near Parsdorf.

- Eight patrols and the detectives are coming
Based on the information provided by the two, a total of eight patrol crews from the Poing Police Inspectorate and the surrounding departments moved to the Parsdorf area to look out for the three alleged perpetrators.
The police reported this later.
In addition, the Erding Criminal Police Inspectorate was informed, which also went to the crime scene with a crew from the permanent criminal service to investigate the robbery in the room.
Contradictions intensify: deed only pretended
Then the turning point: "During the course of the operation, based on the traces and contradictory statements by the 14-year-old, there were increasing indications that the course of the crime was only faked by him," writes the Poinger inspection in its follow-up report.
During an interrogation by officers of the Erding criminal police, the boy finally admitted to having invented the alleged robbery.
Originally, according to the police, he only wanted to impress his 12-year-old brother with this story, but he was not aware of the effects of his descriptions.
Ads can get expensive
The boy is now facing charges of faking a robbery.
In addition, in such cases, the police headquarters examines the extent to which the costs incurred as a result of the operation can be charged.
