The original Doom from 1992 is one of the games that players have run on every possible, and sometimes even unconventional, operating system.
And no, we are not just talking about computers, consoles, or even cell phones, but about car operating systems, smart refrigerators, toasters, pregnancy tests, and the list goes on and on.
It seems like the question "Will it run Doom" is part of human evolution: fire detection, wheel invention, industrial revolution, and running Doom on various operating systems.

User James Brown (no relation to singer) whose profile describes him as a "making things" user (his exact words, not ours) shows how he attached a 72X40 (and 0.42-inch) tiny LCD monitor to a Lego cube, used as a queue The screen itself.
While we are not sure he has progressed too far in the game, it is still a particularly impressive and entertaining achievement.
Because Doom is written in old code that is considered essential for even new programming today, the game can be run on almost any basic operating system.
Developer iD Software has released the source code of the game for free use for gamers, which explains how to date the game has managed to run to date even on every possible operating system and the weirdest accessories.
