Andrea Fuentes recounts the rescue of Anita Álvarez: "I didn't ask myself if I had to go or not, I wasn't going to wait"

Andrea Fuentes, a four-time Olympic medalist and coach of the United States artistic swimming team, recounted the moment she jumped into the pool to rescue Anita Álvarez during the World Swimming Championships in Budapest.

Fuentes said that she knew from the beginning that something was not right with her athlete because of the movement of her feet at the end of the routine.
