An individual armed with two knives tried to break into the police station in the town of Rodez (Aveyron), before stabbing the manager of a nearby pizzeria, Monday evening June 20, we learned this Thursday from parquet.

A little after 9 p.m., the suspect showed up at the door of the police station, expressing his desire to enter the premises.
While the police were making the necessary arrangements for his arrest, the pizza maker, alerted by the noise caused, left his workplace and tried to reason with him.
It was there that, in circumstances that the ongoing investigation should help to elucidate, the defendant stabbed the victim with a knife.

Seriously injured, she was taken care of by the emergency services and hospitalized in Rodez.
The suspect was arrested at the scene.
After first aid, he was taken into custody.
Aged 35 and residing in the Ruthenian agglomeration, he has not, for the time being, expressed "
any claim or any particular reference
", according to the public prosecutor of Rodez, Olivier Naboulet.
The investigation for attempted murder was entrusted to the Departmental Directorate of Public Security (DDSP) of Aveyron.
