Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrinin announced that Western countries' attempts to sabotage relations between Moscow and Minsk are doomed to failure.
During a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu, RIA Novosti news agency quoted Khrinin as saying: We meet at a difficult and complex time, but no matter how our opponents try to drive a wedge between our two countries, on the contrary, we are getting closer.
Khrinin added: The fraternal relations between Russia and Belarus have become a solid basis for further joint action between the two countries.
