The Warngau municipal council has again postponed the decision on the gravel pit on Ahornallee.

The attempt to invite a representative of the district office to the meeting failed.

Large pit: On Ahornallee and B 318 (right) north of Warngau, a recycling company also wants to backfill Z 1.2 material in the future.

What that means, the council would rather be explained in detail first.

Warngau – What exactly do the operators' plans mean to backfill material from a higher load category than before in the gravel pit "in der Wolfsläng" on Ahornallee north of Oberwarngau?

The Warngau municipal councils did not receive an answer to this question in their most recent meeting.

The attempt to invite an expert from the approval authority - the district office - to the meeting failed, reported Mayor Klaus Thurnhuber (FWG).

A message that was received with incomprehension in the municipal council.

"I find it sad that the higher authority does not manage to send one within four weeks," said Anton Bader (FWG).

The district office suggested knocking on the water management office as an alternative, Thurnhuber reported.

He did not find this to be appropriate, after all, the municipal council wanted information from the supervisory and approval authority itself, and that is the district office.

Thurnhuber recommended postponing the decision again and trying again.

As reported, the company also wants to backfill the gravel pit with material of the so-called allocation value Z 1.2 and no longer just with less contaminated Z 1.1 material.

What that means exactly, the municipal council wants to be explained by an independent expert from the approval authority.

Max Bauer (FWG) didn't feel comfortable postponing the decision again.

He warned decisively that after two months a fiction of approval could occur.

The head of the town hall did not see this danger: the municipal council had had the application on the agenda several times and also dealt with it, documented in the minutes.

He has the information from the district office that there is no fiction in the event of an adjournment.

Max Bauer wasn't convinced.

"I think we've reached a dead end and can't change anything." He sees no reason why the company should be allowed to backfill more contaminated material than originally approved.

Bauer advocated rejecting the application outright.

Michael Spannring (Greens) objected that the district office must weigh up the pros and cons in the approval process.

"If we just reject that, without any reasonable justification, it won't have much weight." Leonhard Obermüller (CSU) also insisted on the technical information.

"That's why we made that decision last time." At the suggestion of Reinhard Bucher (Greens), the parliamentary groups now want to put together a specific list of questions.

With 14:2 votes, the committee decided to postpone the decision again and to invite the district office.
