That may only partially apply to Söder's daughter Gloria-Sophie Burkandt.

The 23-year-old earns her own money through modelling.

About six months ago she presented her plan to go into politics herself like her father Markus Söder.

It might be hard for some to believe with all the glossy pictures on her Instagram profile.

In addition, many social media professionals out there are often not honest with their followers anyway.

They would want to sell them products at random.

She would lose fans with posts about culture and politics.

But she is sure that bikini pictures of her would drive the number of followers up.

"Socially I can see that it's somehow a bit funny where there's a bit of interest.
