Zhang Zhujun, director of the Infectious Diseases Division of the Centre for Health Protection, said that a total of 172 new cases were reported in schools, involving 155 schools (24 kindergartens, 73 primary schools, 57 secondary schools and 13 special schools), including 135 students and 37 students faculty.
