The AfD failed before the Federal Constitutional Court with the application that its candidates take over the chair of several Bundestag committees, at least for the time being.
In a decision published on Thursday, the Second Senate rejected the party's urgent application.
A final decision on the complaint will only be made at a later point in time in the main proceedings.
