Germering – Last year it was still a purely online event, but this year's Germeringer Business Reception finally took place on Wednesday, June 22nd, again on site in the Orlandosaal of the Germeringer Stadthalle.
For the
14th time
, the
city of Germering
invited to the event, where on the one hand the achievements of the local companies, companies, dealers and self-employed people are recognized and on the other hand the actors of the economy should get to know each other better and network.
A total of
33 companies
that celebrated anniversaries
between five and 85 years
this year were honored this time.
With an appreciation for 70 years, the
Germeringer Anzeiger
in particular stood out, only surpassed by “Schindler hairdressers”, which were honored for a total of 85 years.
Special Awards and New Businesses
In addition to those celebrating anniversaries, some companies were highlighted for
special awards
they received for their work.
For example, the bookstore "Lesezeichen", which received the German Bookstore Prize.
In addition, a total of twelve new companies from the retail, trade, IT/software development and health sectors, now based in Germering, were presented.
"Thanks to your commitment, we have a liveable Germering"
,
Mayor Andreas Haas
thanked the old and new companies and explained, alluding to the city slogan:
"Your commitment could be neither more beautiful nor better".
panel discussion
After the awards,
moderator Jürgen Kirner
, who led the evening, called
the two chairmen of the Germering trade association,
Katrin Schmidt
and
Jürgen Andre
, as well as
Clemens Reitinger from "ERS electronic GmbH" onto the stage alongside
OB Haas
to discuss various Germering topics with them to discuss.
Together they talked about the new city slogan, how the trade association was able to motivate its members despite Corona, how the mayor himself could support retail, about the shortage of skilled workers, but also about the two construction projects "Briefverteilzentrum" and "Kreuzlinger Feld".
Bluestrings accompany the evening musically
"Because such an event is such that there is a lot of talking," as moderator Kirner warned at the beginning with a wink, the business reception was accompanied by music from the Bluestrings, the "Youth Jazz String Orchestra" of the district music school in Fürstenfeldbruck, "to sweeten the evening".
